In this fun class students will make the cookie dough and cut and bake the cookies. While the cookies are baking, make the royal icing and color it and make stiff and flood consistency piping bags. Then learn techniques to use different colors of sanding sugar, flood icing and stiff icing to decorate the cookies. Christy will show 6 different techniques and the kit ingredients will make 12+ cookies. Items needed from home: 1 stick unsalted butter, 1 large egg, ¼ C heavy cream, ½ c + 1 TBSP water, Scissors, Oven, Mixer, Sheet Pans, Spoons/Spatulas, small mixing bowls and Damp Towel.
